In the year 1959 the last generation of the Ford Anglia was produced by Ford of Britain. The backlights were formed as tail fin. There were a round part like in the poster and another overlying conical part.
The model was offered in Europe and also in Switzerland, for example the type Anglia 'de luxe'. The poster was published in the time of the introduction of the new model in Switzerland.
Later a model of Ford Anglia was shown in the second Harry Potter film "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" from the year 2002 and became famous as a flying vehicle.
