The on the poster announced world congress of peace was planned for London, took place for only one day in Sheffield and was then performed in Warsaw from 16th to 22nd of November.
Picasso belonged to the first having signed the "Appeal to the World Congress of the Defenders of Peace". In the World Peace Council he was member for Spain.
