You can read in the small exhibition catalogue translated in five (!) languages (pol., eng., russ., french, germ.) about the aim of this exhibition:
"This first attempt of democratic Poland in exhibiting in Germany after the end of the war the works of Polish creative art aims at acquatinting the German population - for whom Polish art actually remains something exotic - with the principal representatives of Polish graphic art and with their works of art." (p.8)
