Roger Falck and his wife Éveline Lot-Falck worked in the Musée de l'Homme in Paris and was responsible for a couple of publications.
The motive of the poster is used also on the cover of the catalogue. See there no.178: "BIJOU en or composé de deux animaux stylisés (lézards ou crocodiles?), réunis par une barrette. (...) Longueur 59 mm. Largeure. 51 mm. CIV. QUIMBAYA. Còlombie."
